These are only a few of the many beautiful places I'll remember!

ketchikan1.jpg

Ketchikan, Alaska.  The Salmon capital of the world, and surprisingly closer to Seattle, Washington than Anchorage.  Home of beautiful Creek Street, and our favourite place for nachos Annabella's.

The Hubbard Glacier on a beautiful day!

Golfing the Devil's Triangle in St. Thomas with our boss, Bob.  If you can golf these three holes without taking a stroke, you win a little prize!  A hole in one pays for your vacation!

aruba.jpg

The world's largest Natural Bridge in beautiful Aruba.  My favourite place in the world!  Aruba's waters are shark invested, and surprisingly deep at the beach near the bridge.  Dry, warm, with cool air coming from the ocean north of Venezuela, Aruba is charming and has many comforts of home, including well-mannered, English-speaking Arubans, familiar shopping, and so many things to see and do.  To the right is a mysterious rock formation in Aruba, and cacti, which is everywhere.  People use cacti to line their properties with as natural, prickly fencing.  Fabulous idea!

Hubbard Glacier, in the Gulf of Alaska.

Panama Canal at the Miraflores Locks.  This was an unbelievable experience to witness this technology that is over 100 years old!  Though I don't agree with the politics of the Canal and its link to the United States, the Panamanians have done a great job at making this an amazing sight to see.

Touring Catalina Island in a golf cart!  Golf carts are licensed and used as vehicles by the locals to get around the island.  We had an amazing time puttering up and down the island, and it's so beautiful!  Hard to believe this island is only a few miles out due west of Los Angeles.

We swam with stingrays in the Grand Cayman Islands!
